August First Friday Art Walk
FRIDAY, AUGUST 4 | STREET FESTIVAL | 5:30-10P.M.
WHAT IS THIS EVENT?
The First Friday Art Walks are the signature event of Denver's Art District on Santa Fe. On August 5th you can view art from hundreds of artists in galleries, studios, co-ops, upstairs, downstairs, in alleys, on the street—everywhere! In addition to our member galleries, there will be food trucks in the District, live music, and more. Keep scrolling for more details.
WHERE WE ARE
Our District spans from 13th on the North to Alameda on the South, Kalamath to the West, and Inca to the East. Santa Fe Drive will be closed from 6th Avenue to 11th Avenue for the First Friday Art Walk in August only.
GETTING HERE
Denver's Art District on Santa Fe is easily accessible by the Light Rail Station at 10th and Osage. Please take public transportation as SANTA FE DRIVE AND MANY SIDE STREETS WILL BE CLOSED! If you must drive, there is free parking in and around the District. All street parking within the event will be inaccessible to park between 12pm-12am on August 5th.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I GET THERE?
The festival is on Friday, August 5, 2022, from 5:30-10 p.m. Starting at 3 p.m., Santa Fe Drive will be closed to through traffic, and side streets will be closed all day, so arrive early and take public transportation if you can.

FOOD OPTIONS
In addition to our member restaurants and breweries, you'll find food trucks throughout the festival grounds.
VENDING
Vendor registration for August First Friday 2023 is now CLOSED.
Non-event vending will not be permitted within the street closure. Vending is not permitted by the City of Denver outside of the street closure either, nor is mobile street vending without a permit from the City of Denver.

CAN I BRING MY DOG?
Well-behaved animals are permitted and allowed in some galleries, but it is a very busy street and might be scary for the pooch.
WAIT, WHAT STREETS ARE CLOSED?
Santa Fe will be closed from 6th Avenue to 11th Avenue (see map below). If you're still debating, really, you shouldn't be driving that night!
