There's more than just paints and pastels to Santa Fe. Take the Denver's Art District on Santa Fe Tour and learn about the stories beneath the stucco.
The Arts District on Santa Fe, known for its galleries and trendy combination of new and old, now includes a walking tour designed to highlight the history of one of Denver's oldest neighborhoods, and links these simple beginnings with the dynamic avenue of today. Learn about three different eras in the timeline of Santa Fe; 1887, 1927 and today.
The Arts District on Santa Fe has a special event each month known as the "First Friday Arts Walk." As you might imagine, this event takes place on the first Friday of each month. In conjunction with this event, we offer a walking tour for folks who wish to get the history before they visit the galleries.
The First Friday Arts Walk begins at 5:30 at the Byers Branch Library, located at the south-west corner of 7th and Santa Fe. Parking is in the neighborhood or at West High School. Please note that we do not go in any galleries as part of the tour; that is for after the tour!
Reservations are not necessary to join us for this tour, just show up!
(This tour is not offered in conjunction with the First Friday Arts Walk December, January, or February.)
Time: 1 hour
Cost: $5
